I wanted to share a few fiction books that I am wanting to read this year. I read some YA books, but my main goal this year is to focus more on Christian based books. I thought today I would share the fictional books on my to be read list.

a voice

A Voice in the Wind

I was gifted this book by my sweet mom for Christmas. The reviews on Goodreads and Amazon are amazing, and it sounds like this is a must-read book.

Goodreads description:

The first book in the bestselling Mark of the Lion series, A Voice in the Wind brings readers back to the first century and introduces them to a character they will never forget—Hadassah. Torn by her love for a handsome aristocrat, this young slave girl clings to her faith in the living God for deliverance from the forces of decadent Rome.

Mark of the Raven

I have been on the hunt for good Christian fantasy books, and this book has tons of hype behind it! Selene is a lady of The Great House of Ravenhood, and even better she’s a dream walker a family gift that must be kept secret. The way the women of Ravenwood use their gifts is to gather information to help with or execute assassinations. That’s all I know about this book, and that’s all I needed to make me want to add this to my list!

where we

Where We Belong

Two sisters in the 1800s go on a quest for a biblical manuscript. My history-loving heart freaked out when I read this description!

king folly.jpg

King’s Folly

The world seems to be ending with the volcanos erupting, sinkholes, and earthquakes. The only reason that king of Armania can think of is that the gods are mad. His son Prince Wilek doesn’t believe in his father’s superstitions. When they hear that a town is being swallowed by the earth Wilek is sent to investigate. Wilek’s journey uncovers more then he could have ever imagined, and his goal to save his land and people seem to be impossible.

I mean how cool does that sound? I’ve been told that The Kinsman Chronicles is a prequel to Williamson beloved series Blood of Kings. Have any of you read either of her series?

There’s my list of the Christian fiction that I want to devour ASAP. What are some of your favorite books that I should add to my list? I can’t wait to hear from you and I hope you’re having a great Monday!
