Friday Favorites

Friday Favorites

Yay, it’s Friday Favorites again! I saw this on Andrea and Erica’s Blogs.

It’s finally getting cold again! I LOVE Winter it’s probably my favorite season. I love snow, and cold crisp air, and bundling up. I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but a good cup of tea is just better in cold weather in my opinion! The last couple of weeks it has been in the 60s! Finally, it’s in the ’40s and while I want it colder than that I’ll take it! So with that being said, that leads me up to my first favorite

 Heated Blanket For the Car!

Amazon must haves

I freeze in the car, even with the heated seats, and Chris stays hot so it’s a battle in the car. So for Christmas Chris got me a heated blanket that plugs up to your charger port in the car! I mean how cool is that? The blanket works great Y’all! It keeps me warm and cozy, and is great for the colder weather! When we take Chris’s truck I just grab my blanket from my car and we are good to go. He can turn the air on to cool down, and I’m warm and sung with my blanket.

What I’m Watching

Hallmark movies and shows

Home and Family

I have been trying to watch more TV shows that help me relax and it’s just a feel-good show. I love the recipes they share, and the guests from the Hallmark movies. My favorite is when they have authors on there because fun fact I have a dream of being published one day!

What I’m Eating

Healthy meal plan

Lemon Chicken Orzo

This is actually an older favorite I forgot to share. On my Healthy Meal Plan post I talked about trying this new recipe, and you guys it was a HUGE hit! I did make a change because I didn’t have coriander so instead I used Oregon and it was delicious. It was so simple to make and looked like I had taken hours to make it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

What I’m Wearing

Makeup Revolution, Drugstore Foundation

Makeup Revolution Foundation Stick

I am not kidding you when I say this if my favorite foundation right now. It works well with my dry skin, but I have friends who have oily skin and they love it just as much. This foundation stick beats the high-end ones I’ve tried, and it’s less than 10 bucks! I have a full post on how I like to apply it, my color, and full details of why I love it if you want to know more about it click here.

What I’m Reading

book recommendations, christian fiction, urban fantasy, amazon books

When Ash Rains Down

This is a Christian Young Adult Urban Fantasy that I’m about halfway through and I’m really enjoying. Our main character Julia is a girl who feels like the weight is on her shoulders, literally she has a huge pain in between her shoulder blades. Her main goal in life is to make as much money as she can so she can provide a better life for her and her family. The way to do that is to rush through highs school, graduate early, and have no distractions, but nothing ever goes as planned now does it?

What are you loving this week? I would love to know in the comments below!

P.S. How’s the weather where you live? It has been so weird the last few weeks. Last week it was in the ’60s and Tuesday night a cold front came in so now we are supposed to get snow tomorrow! I have all my fingers and toes crossed hoping for a good snow! Can’t wait to hear from you in the comments!
