Friday Favorites

Friday Favorites

Yay it’s Friday Favorites again! I saw this on Andrea and Erica’s Blogs.

I am loving The Daily Grace Co Advent Bible Study. The study is reminds us how people through the Bible have went through different seasons of waiting. The studies correlate it all back to how the people in the Old Testament were waiting for the coming of Christ, and how we are waiting for his second coming. With the pain of waiting for a baby I desperately needed this Bible Study. I cannot tell you how much peace and growth I’ve received from this study.

I love the community they have created. With their studies comes a free facebook group where they do live study discussions. I love how interactive the community is, and how encouraging they are. They hold a contest every month and how you enter is by posting a video of you reciting a Bible verse by memory. They have prayer Wednesday where you post your prayer request in the comments and pray for the other requests.

Coffee/Tea Mug Warmer

Chris let me open one of my presents early, and it was a tea/coffee mug warmer. Y’all I cannot tell you how much I love this! I am writing a more and sometimes I get wrapped up in my writing and forget about my tea. When I surface back up from the world I’m creating is my tea is cold as ice. My microwave gets more use reheating my tea and coffee then it gets used for anything else. This warmer come to the rescue for my tea loving little heart.

One thing to keep in mind is if you put your tea on the warmer, make sure the tea bag isn’t in your mug. If the bag is still in your mug it will continue to brew and make your tea bitter. Don’t ask me how I know that.

Y’all these socks  are everything! I know they are expensive but they are totally worth it. I was at Barnes and Noble and saw they were 50% off and had to try them. They are called reading socks (how cute is that!) and they have faux sherpa fur on the inside! They are the most comfortable thing I own. They are so soft and thick it feels like I’m walking on a cloud. We have all hardwood floods besides the bedroom so the extra cushion I get from the fur helps with my back when I walk around barefoot. Am I the only one that can’t walk around barefoot on hardwood floors for too long without my back hurting?

I put my comfy clothes on, make a tea, and put these bad boys on, and I am in heaven! They are still 50% off so if you want to treat yourself or give them as a gift I say go for it! I’m going to buy a few more myself.

Homemade Gifts

I did a post early this week showing some of the homemade gifts I made, and I loved making them. Those are the type of gifts I love to give the most. My family always does some sort of homemade gifts for one another, and they always warm my heart!

So those are my Friday Favorites. I would love to see what you are loving this week. Make sure to tell me in the comments or leave a link to your own post. I hope Y’all are having a wonderful Friday!

I love homemade gifts so much!
Yes the Bible Study group is amazing! You can join the Facebook group, and even if you don’t buy the studies they put up the readings, and discussions for free. I love it!
