Friday Favorites

Yay it’s Friday Favorites again! I saw this on Andrea and Erica’s Blogs.

Now this is a weird favorite because at first I didn’t think I liked it. When I started drying my hair my hair felt heavy and oily. If I would have left my hair straight and natural it would have looked awful, but I wanted to wear it in a cute side braid. It turned out so good y’all. My fair had volume for days and the braid looked so thick and beautiful. The next day I wore it in a cute ballerina bun and it was perfection. I really like it for styling up-do’s, but I wouldn’t use it if I was going to wear it straight and down.

Here’s a picture of the braid. No judging I’m new at selfies for a blog!

I did something last week that NO ONE in my life could believe I did. I got a tattoo and I love it! The meaning behind it means so much to me and you can read about it here.

I never thought I would get the courage to do it. I really am a traditional girl and my friends tell me I was born in the wrong time, but I have always loved tattoos that have deep meaning. I also love crazy hair colors, but that’s about as crazy as I get haha!

I am a little obsessed with anything Lysa TerKeurst writes. Do you have an author that you feel like hits the nail on the head about everything that you are going through? That’s Lysa for me and she’s an auto buy author for me. While reading her books it’s like your sitting with a girlfriend over a cup of coffee. This devotional truly is amazing. The devotions are just a few pages, but powerful. Lysa’s humor is catching and had me giggling, there were other devotions that had me tearing up and whispering that’s me every devotion is relatable on different levels.  I recommend checking this out if you’re looking for a great devotional.

I have a review for these products coming out next week, but I had to go ahead and share them first on Friday Favorites. I have very dry skin and I have been using these products for almost 3 weeks, and they have made a difference with my dryness. I don’t want to go into too much detail since I will be writing the review next week, but just know that if you have dry skin these should be in your skincare routine.
